| Adding the final items to our moving truck. Just minutes before we officially start the drive home. |
It has been just two weeks since we arrived in California. I have to admit it feels a lot more like 2 days. We packed the Penske and headed back to the place where we started, good 'ol Southern California where the skies are so blue.
| I now appreciate the sight of palm trees, which were previously taken for granted. |
My husband started back at work this past Monday, so that seems normal, but right now that is about the only thing that is normal. We still need to find a place in Somewhere, San Diego, CA. We still need to find a school for the girls. We are very much in between, staying at my sister in law's and my parent's house, a definite adventure of sorts. Each morning we pull clothes from moving boxes, every couple days we plan where we'll be, and we long for our own space. However, before you feel sorry for us. . . . know that really we are having so much fun. There's more cousin time than we know what to do with, in fact we find ourselves in that place where we have to remind ourselves that this is not a vacation, we do in fact live here again. It's going to take some time for it all to settle in our hearts, our minds, and our daily lives.

Until everything settles and certainty finds our days, we'll continue to live in the "in between," the place where faith and love have lead us. And if there's is one thing the last six years in Colorado taught us:
It's not really faith if you have it all figured out.
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
